The Chiostro del Bramante hosts until 11 April 2021 'Banksy A Visual Protest' the exhibition dedicated to the 'unknown' English artist and writer who conquered the world.

The over 100 works on display, created between 2001 and 2017 and all from private collections, show the public the world of Banksy steeped in irony, denunciation, politics, intelligence, protest.

Who is Banksy? In all probability the artist was born in Bristol in the early seventies but only his friends and his closest collaborators know his true identity.

'I don’t know why people are so keen to put the details of their private life in public; they forget that invisibility is a superpower' says the artist.
